Swinburne University will again partner with the Australian Government to offer this life-changing program- a fully-funded study program, language and internship experience overseas.

Available for Australian citizen students, the aim of the NCP Scholarship Program is building Australia's connections with our Indo-Pacific neighbours. If successful, your experience will be unique- you get to plan your program, link it to your study area and demonstrate your ability to create lasting connections and a fully immersive experience.

There are a generous number of places for students to be nominated for this scholarship program.

We encourage students of all study areas and backgrounds to apply.

Program details:

Scholarship value at over A$100,000 (if all components of the program are undertaken)

Choose from one of 40 countries in the Indo-Pacific region
Live and study in the world’s most dynamic region
Build professional networks
Engage in cross-cultural communication and study
Academic and language tuition covering up to $20,000
Monthly stipend for living expenses ($2,500 per month)
Travel allowance of $2,500
Insurance, case manager support and more

Interested? Review the eligibility criteria below and get ready to register for an information session.

Students must:

be an Australian citizen

be enrolled in units at an on-shore campus of an Australian University during the application process and if successful, for the duration of their participation in the program
be between 18 and 30 years (inclusive) for non-Indigenous Applicants, and between 18 and 35 years (inclusive) for Indigenous Applicants.
be undertaking a Bachelor Degree or Bachelor Honours Degree when the Scholarship Program commences
not be a previous recipient of a New Colombo Plan Scholarship (NCP Mobility Grants are ok)
have achieved a minimum academic average of 60%. Please contact Swinburne Abroad if you fall below this
have demonstrated involvement in extra-curricular / leadership activities in their community
